Babysitting Trainings
This eight-hour American Red Cross Babysitting Course is a hands-on way to learn everything you need to know about babysitting. Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, professional and reliable sitter. This course will teach you to be safe on the job, how to recognize an emergency and how to handle it effectively.
Included in the course is a Pediatric American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification that is valid for two years. A pizza lunch is provided. After successful completion of the training, participants will have the opportunity to gain experience by volunteering up to 10 hours at a YMCA Child Care location.

Hold a Babysitting Training at your organization!
Have a group of 6+ and want to take a course together? We would be happy to hold a group class just for you! This is a great option for organizations, businesses, girl scouts, boy scouts, church groups, and many others. The YMCA can either host your group at the YMCA facility, or we can come to you! Help your team and friends feel safer, more educated, and prepared.
Organization will need to provide:
• Streaming internet
• Space for training
• Blank wall
• Minimum of 6 participants
Group Rates:
- 6-14 people: $100/person
- 15-20 people: $95/person
