The YMCA a not-for-profit community service organization that works side-by-side with our neighbors every day to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We believe that to bring about meaningful change in individuals and our community, we must focus our work in three key fundamental areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. But we wouldn’t be here without our members!! Here are just a few ways that you can get more involved at the YMCA:
Engage: Our programs, services and initiatives enable kids to realize their potential, offer ways for families to have fun together, and empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body. When you engage with the YMCA community, you’ll find support reaching your goals, gain confidence, and build relationships. We offer programs for people of all ages, interests, levels of experience, and more. Learn more on our Programs and Camps page.
Volunteer: Take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change right in your own neighborhood! We offer many opportunities to individuals and families wanting to get involved either one time or on a regular basis. These opportunities include helping at events like the Easter Eggstravaganza, Paul Howry Golf Tournament, and Healthy Kid's Day, coaching our Youth Basketball League, volunteering at our youth food programs, joining a fundraising committee, and so much more! Learn more and view a full list of opportunities on our Volunteer Opportunities page.
Give: The Y doesn’t just provide services, we transform lives. Donations make it possible for a child to prepare for a bright academic future, for a neighbor to regain strength after cancer, for a senior to find community, and so much more. Help make the transformative work of the YMCA accessible to all! Learn more on our Annual Campaign page.
