ERIC ROGNE

Eric Rogne, a longtime member of the YMCA, has found a way to make the Y part of every chapter of his life.

Whether it’s through racquetball, group fitness, or donating to our Partner of Youth Campaign, Eric has found a “sanctuary” in our YMCA community. Here is a bit of his YMCA story, in his own words:

“I have been an active member of the YMCA since 1966. The Y is a great place for physical and social activities, where I have met many great people. I played racquetball for over 35 years, until arthritis took over. I now do cardio and water exercise to help treat my health issues. I have had over 20 surgeries for degenerative disk disease and arthritis, and I would not have been able to recover from them without classes at the YMCA. I’m at the YMCA all the time – and I sincerely love it! the YMCA has been vital to my well-being for the past 50 years – it is like my sanctuary. I encourage everyone to find a place within the YMCA community – it has so much to offer!”
